The cold weather has finally arrived in Toronto, and I’m already missing the warmth. I’m writing this all cozy in my burrito blanket, thinking back on one of the best summers I’ve had.
It was a season of new experiences, new connections, and lots of memories. I felt myself growing and evolving during this time, embracing discomfort, and working on becoming a better version of myself. Through stepping out of my comfort zone, facing uncomfortable emotions, and putting in the effort to grow, I’ve noticed a real shift in my confidence and sense of self. It’s been such a rewarding experience.
I celebrated my birthday in Montreal with my friend, attended my first music festival (it was an *experience*), took full advantage of patio weather, worked on healing my inner child, met lots of new people, went to my first solo concert, and deepened the existing relationships in my life.
I captured many of these moments on film, and I’ve shared some of my favourites here. I suggest playing “Wash” by Bon Iver for the optimal vibes!
As fall settles in, I’ve got plenty of exciting things lined up to keep me busy—and help manage the seasonal blues. I’m looking forward to embracing this new season and seeing what it brings into my life.
